Jeti Power-ion Receiver packs

The power-Ion battery packs are special batteries that power the receiving system and the servos in the model.

The main advantages of Power-ion batteries are they have a high mechanical resistance, due to its metal cell cup and long life. During their operation, a load balancer is not needed and if there is a short circuit with a current higher than 150A, the integral short-circuit protection is activated. The overcharge protection is activated when the charging voltage rises to about 5V per cell. These batteries can operate from very low to very high (-10 - + 60 ° C) temperatures.

Every Power-ion battery pack is equipped with a two-core cable with JR plug and a two-wire line with the MPX connector for connection. For higher currents, we recommend connecting the receiver using the MPX connectors and the JR, also to use the MPX plug as a charging port, Both cables are the same length.

Please note these Power-ion Batteries do not need balance charging and do not have a balance connecter, therefore please make sure your charger can function without the balance function connected.

The power-Ion battery packs are supplied with the plastic frame assembly in which the batteries are mounted with the included Velcro. This mounting frame is Vibration protected with rubber grommets. Insert the enclosed Brass fittings in the rubber, so that the side with the bearing surface meets the mounting surface, so crushing of the rubber grommets is prevented.

We have made arrangements with our courier DPD to carry out our Dangerous Goods, yes Lipos, deliveries here in the UK, Battery packs can be carried in one parcel and they have to be double wrapped, this subsidised service costs just £7.00 (plus VAT) per delivery, so if you are ordering Lipos it will be a benefit to you, if you order up to four at a time to help with the cost of postage. We are sorry for this inconvenience and extra cost but unfortunately this is out of our hands.
